Default Vater Session Sticks

Hey everyone,

Just interested to know from maybe people who own or have used this sticks to tell me what they think about them? I know you should really try the stick for your self before buying but soon i will go and try them i am just curious at the moment about them. Any info/opinion on them would be great!

their quite top heavy for lots of power yet very light and balanced, and talk about durable vaters are in a class by themselves, ive gone from vic to regal to promark and many others and any stick from vater is great. but thats just my 2 cents.

I'm sure they are great. Vater sticks are the best made sticks I've seen. They will last a long tme, but I'm just not loving the sound all that much compared with Vic Firths. I've got a few pairs of Vaters now and while they are tough little things (7As, Super Jazz {over a year old}, Sweet Ride) the pairs are pitched paired so one stick is heavier than the other. Also they tend to have a dull sound on rim clicks compared to the 'clave sound' of other brands. I guess if you are looking for durability though, go with Vater.
