Default My Mapex VX series

Hi, this is my first thread in this forum hope you like it.

My drums are a Mapex VX series set in wax cherry red.
Specs.


22 x 18 Bass Drum
12 x 9 Tom Tom
13 x 10 Tom Tom
14 x 14 Floor Tom
16 x 16 Floor Tom
14 x 5.5 Snare Drum
6",8",10" rototoms

Cymblas:

I konw that arent the top of the line but im upgrading them soon i hope.

Zildjian Planet Z hats 14
Zildjian Planet Z crash 16
Zildjian Planet Z ride 20
Zildjian ZBT crash/ride 18
Zildjian ZXT fast splash 10
Zildjian ZXT total china 18
Zildjian ZHT efx 16
Zildjian ZHT china 18
Camber china 12

Heads.
The heads are the stock ones, ill replace them for some evans G1 clear.

Hardware:
Pearl rack,cymbal holders.
Mapex Stands and double pedal.
Peace tom holders.

Hey whats up, despite that camber is a cheap brand of cymblas, this china sound great, a thrashy sound i like it...

I have Mapex M Birch and love it.

Great kits for the money.

Camber still makes cymbals? I have a 20 year old hi-hat from them and it still sounds good lol.

Wow, I wish I had a set up like that when I was your age. Upgrade those planet Zs, and that camber and you'll be set! I saw that camber and actually got chills... My first kit was a CB700 with camber cymbals... I hated those cymbals... Never tried their china though. Otherwise, a very nice set up.

I would bust my butt on that throne. I had one like that back in the day. I stood up to grab a cymbal and the back of my knee hit the throne...down it went. Kind of embarassing.

before this kit, i had an Evolution kit, it was a nice kit, its sound was really nice, but this one, the VX, its a lot better, it has a great sound, i love it, it worths every penny i spent on it.!!
