Default New here... my Ludwigs

Hey everyone! My name's Adam, I'm 17 and I'm from Milwaukee, WI, USA. I've been coming to Drummerworld for a long time, but never joined the forum for some reason. I'm a huge Zeppelin+Bonham and Iron Maiden+Nicko Mcbrain fan. Anyways, here's my setup:

Ludwig - Accent Custom, 10,12,14, 20, 14x5" snare. :-P
LP - John Dolmayan 6+8" mini timbales
Paiste - 22" 2oo2 Rock Bell Ride, 16+18" Alpha Rock Crashes
Zildjian - 14" 60's A series hihats
Wuhan - 22" China
Factory Metal - 12" Celtic Bell
...and a Pearl powershifter double pedal.
I know the drums aren't much, but I love my cymbals, and this set is an absolute blast to rock out on! I'm sure I'll enjoy this forum as I've heard good things about it. Up The Irons!

Ah yes, I see the Nicko influence. Very old school. Cram drums in anywhere they'll fit. Also check out Michael McBains (aka Nicko McBrain) earlier works with Pat Travers. "Putting It Straight" if you haven't already. The song "Life In London" is a total rocker. Nice kit. Welcome to Drummerworld.

Thanks! Yeah I've heard a few of Nicko's songs with Travers before (I don't remember which though), it's good stuff! It's nice to hear his "funkier" side.

Love the rock bell. Did you pick yours up used or buy it when it was still in production? Cool setup too.

thanks guys,

I picked up the rock bell ride towards the tail end of its production, because I wanted the classicNicko Mcbrain ride bell sound. So I dropped over $300 on the thing only to have them come out with THE Nicko Mcbrain signature cymbal like a year and a half later! Oh well, it's a kickass piece of metal and it sounds absolutely huge! No more problems cutting right through my lead guitarist's amp stack!
