When I did play 2 kicks, that was the way I set up. 1 up, 1 down or 1 up, 2 down (mostly). Can't go wrong with Ludwig, green sparkle, or the sizes. Beautiful.

Nice!!!
When I saw these pics I immediately had "Good Times Bad Times" in my head.
Those Luddies often remind me of John Bonham...

How does that 26" sound compared to the 22"? Is there a big sound difference?

Karl

That's a classic! I like how you have the two different bass drum sizes for different gig situations. Very nice! Oh, and I love that snare too. I also just noticed the different badges, I see two keystones, a pointy B/O, and a rounded B/O. Looks like you pieced this kit together, nicely done.

That's neat. I have a green sparkle kit myself (with a 26") and I must say they are a lot of fun. I've always played a 22" and have a kit with one for more contemporary music, but using a 26" is a great challenge. I played a jazz gig today with it, works great for that vintage sound. I would stick with the 22" for funky stuff though. Ludwigs are always nice in my book, my dream kit one day is to have a vintage Ludwig or Slingerland kit...

Sweet sweet drums you got there. I bet you get the Bonham thing a lot. Speaking of which... got the matching 2oo2s/Giant Beats, by chance?

Nice stuff. What size hi-hats do you have? I have been saving up for the 14s and just love the sound they make, although Bonzo himself used the 15s.

I have 15`s. I`ve never tried the 14s, but i can certainly recommend the 15s, they`re great.

Nice job on the re-wrapped auditorium! I bet that sounds big fat and wet!! NICE!

Sound clips when you get them please!!

p.s. I like the "Bonham" style feel here, but ...NOT Bonham sizes (exept for the 26) ....I also like the 1 down set up!!

That kit stinks of nothing but class!! CONGRATS!

The auditorium is killer. Original 12 strand wires, it`s unbelievably " fat and wet"! You can actually here the shell, vintage and woody.
