Default Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and other electro artists!

After listening to electro for a couple of months, it has really grown on me. (Espiecally the electro with 100%, no real drums!)

I have found that before listening to this music, my timing on the drums was appaling, I was speeding up and slowing down at any random point. After a few months of this, I have realised my time keeping is constant!

Anyone else had any experiences like this or know any other methods of time keeping?

I love Kraftwerk, and their drum programming has definitely influenced my playing, both in how I create drum parts and in improving my time-keeping.

About time-keeping, I'd tell you to just remember that most music out there is done to a click track, and practicing to any of this music can only help you. Kraftwerk is good for how precise and quantized everything is, but beyond that I don't see it as being a ton better for your time. Like I said, I think any music with drum programming will help you tighten things up.

Jean Michel Jarre, I'm not familiar with him, but I'll definitely have to check him out!
