Very nice kit! I like the set up. How do you like playing behind the glass. It always makes me play quieter because of the sound reflection,

Great cymbals too!!

Nice kit, nice cymbals and glad to see you playing for a musical...great way to hone your skills assuming you are having to read the music and follow a conductor, etc.
Have a great time with the musical!

I just finished playing for my school's production of Kiss Me, Kate. Even though I have showtunes stuck in my head and will for the next month, it's a fun experience. Lots of stuff to learn, too. You better know the song structure when the singer forgets a verse, you know. Nice setup too.

I've only played one musical. It ran for three months, and it was one of the best times I've ever had as a drummer.
Have fun during the run.

My musical kit always consisted of bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat, ride, splash, cowbell, woodblock, granite blocks, brake drums, other weird sound effect making things...we never had that much room either. As long as you bring down the house with "Be Our Guest"...it's Ok.

The set-up looks good!
Is that a Starclassic Performer? And what`s your opinion about those Legacy Ride cymbals? I once tried one and loved it`s tonal qualities and the control.

Have fun playing that musical!

Karl

The legacy ride is trashy as hell.

We have another percussionist, she covers everything else, all the aux. percussion, timps, bells, etc... thats why I have such a big kit.. cause I can! haha
