Default Remo Black Ambassadors

Has anyone played these yet? do they sound Identical to coated ambassadors? I love the sound from coated ambassadors but hate the white coating, and am looking into these

I use the ebony Ambassador head reso. on kicks almost standard. The clear Ambassador is a brighter head, the coated head a darker, warmer tone. The smooth white falls somewhere in between, and honestly, if there's a difference between smooth white and ebony (soundwise), I'd say it's very slight.

Are you talking about the new Black Suede Ambassadors? I'm really curious as to how these sound. I'm wondering if they are like the Aquarian DeJohnette heads. Here's a link.
