Default my Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute in studio

Hi everybody

I wanted to show a couple of pictures of my Yamaha drumset in studio. It's a Maple Custom Absolute.
20 (*16??), 10,14(floor). I also have a 12" tom, but I didn't use it in the studio.

Great drums!!! Sound great everywhere, on stage, in studio and at home.

I used mostely vintage cymbals and Istanbul on the recording: 16,18" crashes,22" ride 13" hi-hat and 8" splash.

You can hear the recording on the website: www.myspace.com/cocktaildressband

I must admit, the toms were not separatly miced (I only realised afterwards that that was a pitty!!!).

So let me know what you see and hear!!

Pedro

I like your cymbals - I have a thing for vintage metal. Solid drumming also, very tasty.

Very nice all around. Please put some more goodies on here for us to listen to. I'm liking it.

Hi

Thanks everybody for the respons and for linking the music :-)
Maybe I'll put some more recordings. We have done more, but really quickly, recorded all together. So if I will put them......please don't mind the mistakes :)

Yes, I like the cymbals the most on the demo (of the drums). Maybe the kick is not loud enough on the drum. We still can change that, probably we'll do that.
