Default My new snare drum

So I recently ordered a custom build snare drum for my birthday. The custom drum builder was Tom Wells from Wells Custom Drums. Tom Wells was outstanding, and he fulfilled everything i asked. Plus the price was great too. I have yet to play it, still need to pick it up, but from the pictures it is exactly how I pictured it in my head. I am very happy with the outcome. Tom was great, and I would recommend him to anybody in the market for a custom built snare drum.

Specs:
Maple Steambent shell
6.5'' x 14''
3/16" thickness
1/4" reinforcing rings

Sweet looking drum, very unique look to it, I'm sure it sounds great too. There's so many folks getting drums custom built around here lately... I wish I could get some myself, I might just have to when I'm able to.

Thanks alot man. I was surprised because this was really affordable. It was less then most top quality big named company snare drums would be. Plus I really like the claws to hold down the hoops. I do not see that too often on snare drums.
