I actually used the performance II heads on my Pro M's for a while. I liked them a lot. If you are looking for that muffled sound you will like them too.
here is a link of a live performance where I used the Pro M's with the Performer II heads on the toms. You can hear the toms clearly around the 1 minute mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFV4wonX0bQ Good luck finding the right heads. I've been struggling with my snare recently. EDIT: just remembered, you can also go to www.myspace.com/giovannifuentes I'm using the same Pro M's with the Performer II heads if you listen to "White Feather" or "Envy" All the dream theater stuff I'm using my Tama's.. |

Hi,
I am currently using Remo clear Emperors and play some good size rooms at times. I love the Remo's on my kit. If the drums are tuned right I do not need to muffle the toms at all. The most I had to muffle was one piece of moon gel on the floor tom. I am using a 10" 13" and 16" toms hope that helps, if not don't be shy :-) |

They are both great heads IMO. they will give you two toataly different sounds. The aquarians are indestructable just to let you know.
