Default Mapex S550A snare stand: good?

does anyone know about this stand and whether or not it's a good one? i have no idea about snare stands...

i found one used for $32 and understand they go for about $60-65 new...

I own it, im definitely a beginner in the drumming world but it seems completely fine by me. Really sturdy, enough adjusting for me.

Strongly suggest you get a stand with a ball & socket, so you can angle the snare anywhere (during a gig) without having to lift & rotate the stand, tripping over feet etc.

So important not to comprise on S/drum position/angle
I have a Peal snare stand with a ball & socket on my Mapex kit, but Mapex also make one with a B&Socket.
