Default gibraltar Ultra Adjust HI HATS

i love these hats, but during rehearsal last night, they broke...when i step down, the pedal just bottoms out and the poll dosn't move. since they are not like the traditional hats im use to playing, im not quite sure how to trouble shoot or fix them... any tips? anyone else have this problem? maybe other cable remote hats have this problem too?
we have a show tomorrow and i need to get them working asap... any advice would be great :)

here is a link, incase anyone wants to see what im talking about...

Default Re: gibraltar Ultra Adjust HI HATS

Theres the allen head screws at the point where the angled ultra adjust part sits into, loosen or take the screws out and check the Cable connection.

You'll have to take the adjustable tubing part out of their straight 'connecting' housings to see.

The cable might have just come loose and you need to reconnect it.

It's possible that the cable broke, but you'd think it was pretty tough cable...
I don't know if there is a rod under the cable pulling the rod down like a traditional stand though.

It may just be a connection problem, that seems the most likely.

Hopefully it'll be an easy fix without having to send for a part, or getting a new stand on warranty.

When you are taking stuff apart, be careful not to crank on things, and dent tubes or make it look like you messed up the stand.

Companies can void warrantes if the stand looks abused, or like you 'worked on it' to make
it different than intended.
