Default Your Other Snare

Hey everybody

Wanted to know what kind of side snares everyone uses.

I have a tiny 8x5 Gretsch BlackHawk Snare.

Peace

Edit: Here is a picture of it :)

Although I'd hate to continue a trend of no pics... I recently took the throwoff and bottom head off of my Tama 12 x 5 steel snare and want to set it up as a timbale. But I don't have any pics taken yet. They will be soon, I promise.

EDIT: Speaking of which, any shots of your 8" popcorn 2085? That thing must be so high-pitched when you crank it. Like the type of sound that annoys dogs.

I have one on my camera phone. I was going to take a picture of it with my digital camera but i forgot it is at my friend's house right now. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow for sure.

I was going to put an "Edit: Please post pictures!" in my first post but might as well do it here.
Please post pictures! :)

I have 2 "side" snares, but i'm currently using one of them for everything.

The one I use all the time is the same 12x7 cherry/maple black panther that everyone else has. The other one is a 12x3 tama hammered steel shell. I need to get into a band where i can use that one again... i miss how the first time i'd hit it people in the audience would jump a little.
