NICE upgrade man! Good job. I like how you moved your rack toms too.

Is that the Gibralter 350C? I have the same rack, and it's been sitting in my closet for the past 2 years. I really liked the system, but because I have to move my drums around a lot, it got to be more of a hassle to set up and tear down. Looks very impressive, and has a smaller "footprint" than a conventional stand setup, but my god, the bitch weighs a freakin' TON!!!

Looks very nice and comfortable to play on!
What kind of batter heads do you have on your toms? How do those black ones work for you? I read they`d sound warmer, in between clear and coated heads...

Looks great and love the set-up. I've done the same and moved my toms towards the hi-hat as well (looks like you have). Feels so much more natural playing position.

Are those two gong basses in the back in the last pic?

Oh yeah, sweet kit! I love the wine red finish and everything looks so organized!

Thumper- Not sure on model, I got it lightly used off craigslist.

Nimby- Yes, it's a 18" oriental china trash...love it!

Drummer Karl- Those are Evans Black Hydraulics. They kill the sound of the toms. Would not have been my choice, but these were brand new heads just installed on the kit when I bought it. Can't see trashing them till I get more use out of them. I would have gone with
G2 top and G1 bottom. Will replace with those later on.

Tamadrummer101- No those are 2 old concert toms (14"and 15")purchased in '82 to make my 5 piece pearl kit an '80's monster kit. I also had 8" and 10" concerts on the other side to give me 8,10,12,13,14,15,16 toms plus 6,8,10 roto's.

Nice kit and cymbals! The rack is a great addition. What kind of hats are those? I've been looking for vintage zildjians, where did you get yours?
