Drums: Mapex VX 22 x 18 base 10 x 8, 12 x 9, and 14 x 12 toms 14 x 5.5 snare Cymbals: All Sabian XS20 cymbal line 14" hats, 18" med thin crash, 10" splash, 20" med ride, 16" med thin crash, and 18" china Awesome kit. I really find the offset toms are a nice fit and feel very natural to me. Next tweak is to fully upgrade all the skins. Cheers. |

Very nice looking set. I prefer the offset toms too. Although my new kits I have yet to buy a stand to center them.

I really like how you've got everything set up. Thats a pretty nice finish too, i like it more than my pro-m finish. I like mapex but they don't have any finishes that aren't extravagant. Why can't mapex make pro-m's in that finish?? btw what pedal is that?

Yes, interesting. I picked that up from a local drum shop for $20 and have no idea who makes it. It was part of my original practice kit but it has better action and more stable than what came with the Mapex kit. So it is in, and Mapex is out. Glad the kit is sparking some interest. Cheers.

Very nice kit indeed! It looks really comfy to play! Yeah, I bought my first kit here back in October 2007. Just a Tama Imperialstar. I didn't upgrade from the stock heads until this last week! :) I got a brand new set of Aquarians. If you want a good set of durable heads. I'd go for Aquarian.
