Default Gil Sharone

Gil Sharone is the new drummer for the Dillinger Escape Plan. He recorded the latest album, Ire Works, after Chris Pennie, and founding member, left the band. Here, a great video to show Gil's amazing abilities.

Gil is a monster. One of my favourite drummers at the moment, that reggae grooves video is off the chizzain.

anyone who can play with dillinger is awesome to me. it's cool how calm and composed he looks in that video, he's not all crazy rocking-out, it's all business. his drumset is ridiculous though (in a good way) with those lights in it, not something i would prefer, but definitely pretty cool.

Saw Dillinger last night and Gil just blew me away. He definitely fills Pennie's big shoes well!
BTW that acrylic kit is strong as hell.; Ben (guitarist) kept jumping on and off of the bass drum and the thing didn't even flex at all!
