Default DrumCraft Series 8 Clear Acrylic

Has anyone got an opinion on these drums? My 'local' drum shop has a set in store and I think I've fallen in love with the kit!

1190, which is rather pricey but from what I've read DrumCraft make excellent drums!

Chosen in first place on the stunning appearance Acrylic drum shells offer much more than just looks.
The 7mm extruded seamless transparent Acrylic shells of DrumCraft bring back the good old times of Rock’n’Roll how it was meant to be.
Rough, powerful, untamed.
These drums are loud with a boomy low end.

They are gorgeous. I have a set of clear Zickos and I think they are great, both sounding and looking. I have no experience but I bet they will be similar.

I played clear Vistalites (and Zickos, too) for 25+ years. Great sounding drums. Great looking stage kit, also. Probably not the kit I'd choose to record with .... but then, that's why I have several kits. My current Vistalite project .... 24x14, 22x14, 12x8, and 16x16. I say "pull the trigger", if your bank account will allow it.
