Default Alesis HR-16

I just bought an Alesis HR-16 (30 bucks). Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I am going to use it as a click and hopefully as a tool to improve my solo's.

Thanks,
MRW

Those were the first easy-to-use, yet powerful drum machines c1987. I kind of miss mine.

Except the part where it doesn't dial-in exact tempos.

Those were notorious for finding tempos inbetween whole BPM,.. such as 91.3bpm when you actually wanted 91.

It's not a big problem if you're just makikng tracks omn the fly or playing along to the machine, but as soon as you get another device hooked up to it that has good tempos, there are conflicts.

But on its own, it's a nice unit.

Sounds like that is going to be a problem in the click-track department.

Thanks Bermuda

I'm having a problem with my HR-16 (probably user error). I don't have any output. The unit seems simple enough, but I can't figure it out (unless it's just broken). Any ideas?

Thanks
