Default New Camera!!! with my New Snare!

I finally got a new camera and took pics of my snare with it.
I love how the wood comes out in different lightings.
I think these are a lot better than my camera phone pics.
It's a 5x14 Walnut stave with maple inlay.
I'll post recordings asap.

Anybody else have a custom snare drum? I'd love to see them.

Well you don't have to rub it in... that inlay just looks too good!

Haha, I'm sorry man, I soooo didn't mean it like that! :) I just love seeing unique drums you know.

Thanks for the compliments guys, this is the best investment i've ever made. I was thinking about getting a Tama Warlord for a while. But then i did some research and found out that they were ply-wood drums. I don't mind ten plies of special maple, but i do mind the 9 layers of glue between the plies. I wanted a good snare so that i wouldn't have to buy another one for a very long time.

Oh and it sounds even better than it looks ;)
