Default 1979-1980 Ludwigs

I am currently looking for some 1979 Ludwigs (Blue/Olive Badge). Do any of the die hard Ludwig fanatics have any suggestions?

I have a super-sensitive snare from that era or maybe a bit earlier. I never play it though.

Any particular reason why you want that specific time frame? Usually the craze is for the 3-ply shells which was phased out around 1976..

My first drum kit was from that era. I liked the sound as well.
