How do you like it !

I don't know if you read my post from yesterday but I cancelled my order for the AL-2 because it was taking forever to get here. I was really disappointed in how long it was taking - it was ordered months before Christmas and it was to be a Christmas gift. After Christmas it still hadn't arrived. I still would buy one if I came across one in a music store.

Just out of curiosity - how long did you have to wait for it - or did you find it in a store?

Hello!

I bought it off a website called discountdrumgear.co.uk, as i live in the UK. Delivery took around a week, but the website ships to the EU aswell, not sure about USA

And yeah they feel great! very floaty but i like it, maximum pedal tension and they work great.

Thanks - that's $604.34 CD (for today) plus taxes and Brokerage fees that we always have to pay here. Axis falls under NAFTA (free-trade agreement) so I would pay no duty at the border. In total that's about $740 with the free shipping (I called them about that). It was about the same price - to the penny - when I ordered it locally. Just too bad it took so long and I cancelled. I may order it online after all. I like shopping locally but sometimes it's a pain for the retailer (and wholesaler) to deal with the border and stuff gets hung up in the Twilight Zone there forever.

Default what is the difference between the Axis SL-2 and Axis AL2-CB?

I'm online now looking at ebay and there's an Axis AL2-CB pedal at GearTree for $559.

What's the difference between the AL-2 and the AL2-CB other than the obvious color (maybe different metal too) - anyone know?

The difference between the AL2 and AL2CB is the classic black anodized aluminium finish, both pedals are made from aircraft grade aluminium

Hope this helps

The price difference was anywhere from $40-$200 (depending on where I was looking in the USA) between the AL2 and AL2CB that's why I was asking. I just thought that maybe the AL2CB was made different and maybe a little cheaper?
