Default Almost Complete Tama Superstar

so after christmas, i was very greedy and went out and got some new stuff. first was i ordered an 18" floor tom! this thing is like the biggest sounding drum i've ever heard! it completes my set-up. then i was at daddy's in nashua and i was looking the snares. i saw at the end of the line was a pork pie pig lite 6x14" clear with black hardware. i went over to hear it and saw the price tag. i snagged that baby for $160.00! now that's a deal. it's like the best sounding snare i've ever owned. check it out here, www.youtube.com/blinkairwaves44 it's so amazing! not to be cocky or anything but holy crap it's the best. so my set-up is almost complete. i'll soon be getting a sabian 20" aax stage crash in brilliant finish to replace my 19" projection, see for yourself:

and i ordered an 18" wuhan china from musicians friend today for 24.99! i'm like a deal magnet. haha-alex

I can recommend the EC2s for head if you ever look to replace them. I just got some in for my Mapex kit. Now my little suspended toms sound deep and full which is nice. The EC2s don't muffle the tone either, I'm impressed. G2s are great too

i tried ec2's a while ago and i really didn't like them at all. i know people give them rave reviews but i just didn't like them. they were too hard to tune. i love the emad's though. and g2's are pretty kick ass but i'll be sticking with remo. i'm going to getting some pinstripes pretty soon. they'll sound bomb with my new rings.-alex

Not bad. I bet that snare is nice, it looks great with the kit.

..and not to start an argument but I have to wonder if the cracked Projection Crash has any relation to how high and flat you put your cymbals.

my cymbals really aren't that high. when i play my head is well over them. i'll get a picture of me playing. although, they do seem very high in the picture. but they're not, trust me.

Cymbal angles seem to be fine on your youtube videos. But it's strange that that cymbal is so badly damaged.
Nice kit and set-up! Is that an 18" floor tom in diameter or in depth?
