Default Tom clamp thingy.

Hey,
I've been trying to find one of those little clamps that ive seen in peoples pictures that attach to your cymbal stand, where you can attach a tom to, as I want to make space for my ride cymbal. Could someone please tell me what these are called, and if possible, a uk site selling them.
Many thanks.
Res.

I'm guessing you are referring to a multi clamp like this

That's a cymbal holder, he's looking for a tom holder.

What make are your drums? Some tom clamps won't fit some drums because the arm is a different size or style.

Answer that and then we can give a better answer.

I've got a mapex Vx kit, sorry for not giving the full details, Its basically a thing that attaches to the middle section of your cymbal stand, people usually use it for their floor tom, or 10" tom, instead of a rack.

I don't know what size L-arm Mapex uses, but you're thinking of something like this:

This is a 10.5mm arm, while Gibraltar makes a 12mm arm which fits Gretsch drums for example.

Actually it was supposed to be the AX20 multi clamp at least it was when I linked it. http://www.samash.com/catalog/catego...categorysearch

Click on the link for the AX20 about half way down the page and it takes you to the boom arm now (shakes head in frustration) I had this problem awhile ago with something else on their site. 10 different items linked to the same one item and it wasn't even close to being the right thing.
