I can't find any info on TD-20X, never heard of it..
I know Roland is using TD-20 as product name for the module and TD-20S for the set.

BTW, anyone tried the 1.09 update? I'm currently on 1.08

well if its anything like my TD-6 was, it means there is a difference in packaging. I know on the TD-6, the SXT means the rack and box are sold together in one set of boxes, whereas the KXT meant the rack was in a separately packaged box- but the kits are the exact same; the Roland rep I talked with said he had absolutley no idea why the company would do it other than to track inventory better.

I have not had any problems with the kick pad, can you take a picture so we can help?
