Here are some of the DW kits I have had some times I kick my self in the butt getting rid of them.I had to sell them because of family needs.My best freind that works for DW Corp in Oxnard Calif afforded me to be able to get a few

of my DW kits .

My first DW Collectors with Keller shells in 1993 .Im 38 yrs young

The snare I still have 1993 Vintage Brass unreal sound will never get rid of it.

I got this in 2005 gone now.

Here are some more that have been sold as well.

My latest kit I got for a practice kit.I pick it up the end of Dec it is blue and white..

Thanks for the vote Barry .I have had a lot of sets in 44 yrs of playing.I will post some more later of different maufactures.It is unfortunate I could not keep them all about 25 sets if my 54 yr old memory serves me right.

wow 44 years? now thats a dedication everyone should admire. i hope that one day i can sit down on a comp and tell people that i have been playing for 44 years as well. unfortunate as it may be that you did not keep those 25 kits, at least you have memories of them =]

Thanks Risen, I paid 5800 for them, 650 for hardshell cases, and I have at least 1500 in cymbals and stands, another 300 or so in miscellaneous cowbells, stickbags, chimes...Then there's sticks, heads, oh and probably another 1000 in microphones, cables, mike stands, holy heck I gig on a 9000 drum set, yes that is my gigging kit, I figure why keep it locked away where no one can appreciate them. I don't care if they get scratched, it's only a drumkit, not like my kid or something. Besides, I gigged with my last set, Pearls, and after 3 years on them I never had anything happen to them damage wise.

Here's another kit from my friend Alvaro. This beauty is a Collector's in Olive Ash Burl natural lacquer. Sizes are 8x7", 10x8", 12x9" and 14x14" toms over gorgeous DW Rack, 20x18" bass drum and 14x5" Edge,

The pics are for the day of purchasing. Will come a few more in a complete set up.

I played on that kit (not THIS exact kit haha!) and it was really fun.
I really liked it, and the 20x20 bass drum was very cool (quite different than my 20x26... :-) ).
I really liked the7x12" tom too.
Looks cool and sounds really good. I bet it looks great under stage lights too.

I do not have x but I do have a VLT kit and a non VLT kit. The VLT kit is deeper while the non VLT kit seems to be a little brighter. I love them both.
