Default Isolation Headphones

I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of isolation headphones Ronald Bruner Jr. was using the 2006 Modern Drummer Festival DVD. I've seen Dennis Chambers use them too at a clinic in 2006.
I like the Vic Firth isolation headphones but I would rather get something else maybe a little lighter. I tried active noise cancelling phones but they don't get the job done.
Any recommendations?

Default Re: Isolation Headphones

the company Bose makes some great noise cancelling / isolation headphones. They get kind of pricey, but they are well worth the money, and they are light weight.
