Default where I get the most work done!

This is my practice set in my livingroom this doesn't bother the wife and I get hours of practice in!!! Almost feels like cheating! I also threw in a pic of my snare which has to be the nicest instrument I have ever owned. Its a 14 x 6 DW Edge snare. The sucker weighs in at about 18 pounds. There is an inch of solid brass at the top & bottom and the middle 4 inches is maple.

That is a sweet practice space. If I were you, though, I'd be using that snare and those pedals on on the real kit.

How can you not have those on the kit! Great practise space, and a perfect snare I'm after one, they look and sound great.

Could I ask what you did for the bass drum practise pad or if it's bought what company makes these?

I really want one of those. I always want to practice my kick-drumming when I'm at my TV or at summer job or whatever but I never know what to do it on or how to.

I'm envious of that snare. It seems that I usually get the most work done on a pad too.

I really love that snare that thing is so versitile, the bass drum pad I got at GC for 50 bucks it is great. I don't have a reherasel spot where I can play my kit right now so I devised this little set up for the time being and "i've really gotten a lot out of it..
I definetely need a good cleaning in there too sorry. LOL

I meant to comment about the edge snare on your other thread. A friend of mine has one which I have played a couple of times when subbing for him. It's a wonderful snare. The first thing I noticed is how nice the ghost strokes come out of it, the sensitivity is wonderful. Maybe one day I will be able to afford one!!
