Haha yes they came with the basic kit back in like '01. They're pretty much dead when you first get them but mine are really worn in so i like the sound. The hats are really trashy which i like for metal and the ride's pretty dark.

That's a nice looking recording tuba! Who plays it? I love the drums too, simple layout that looks real easy to use.

The Yamaha hats are crap but the ride is not bad. It's dark and it has pretty good projection

My Bro plays the tuba haha.
And the Yamaha cymbals are 101's? Wow even if they are the cheapest cymbals Paiste makes at least i can say they're Paiste. |

Here's some better pics of it, still bad quality.
![]() ![]() Sorry my sleeve got in the way in that last pic. I had to hold the camera over my head touching the ceiling to get the whole kit in the picture Last edited by svkelleher10; 12-29-2007 at 03:05 AM. Reason: ... |

didn't paiste make some pearl cymbals back in the day? My friend has a pair of hats that look and sound like rudes, and he say's that they're made by paiste, and are rudes.

Well let's take solice in the fact that these cymbals aren't actually made by pearl and yamaha. Amen.
I need more cymbals. Right now i have: 16" crash 14" hats 8" splash 18" china 20" ride I'm not looking for anything far out like factory metal, but any suggestions along the lines of what kind of new cymbals i should get? I was thinking one more crash, one more china, and 2 more splashes. |

Nice, but arent your toms like sticking way out towards the floor to much?
I used to play with my toms like that, but when I turned them up towards the ceiling more, I was like "Omg" but hey, everyone has their preferences, nice kit again. :) |

yeah I have had my kit like this for a few years so I'm used to it. Any other setup feels weird to me. The kit I record with is setup like this too but with less toms.
