They still appear on the Yamaha web site http://www.yamaha.com/drums/bassdrum...&CNTYP=PRODUCT and they're still for sale.

It was just upgraded with a few pedal and footboard mods.

the model numbers have been changed:
the 9310 series are now 9315 and the 9410 is now 9415.

still the same pedals with a few minor changes. nothing really to differentiate between the two if you didn't know.

since we're at the yamaha 9310 topic, i have a BIG BIG question: where can i find replacement straps (and chains)? i recently changed the double chains with the supplied straps to see how it feels, and it seems a lot easier to go into donati stuff :P with this configuration. the problem is i searched the web and found no place to supply replacement straps for the flying dragon, so now i think...when my straps will wear out, what should i do?

I play a Pearl Eliminator with a strap and I doubt it will ever wear out. Don't worry about it! And if it wears out you can always put your chain back on.

They should never wear out. Today's straps don't wear out or stretch like the old straps did. If it ever does just contact a Yamaha dealer and they can order one for you.

That's for sure, but the chain doesn't feel that comfortable for doubles or some patterns that require extra control in my left foot.

Good to hear though, both from you and from fourstringdrums, that it won't wear out easily, and also about the dealer thing - how come I didn't think of it before?:))

On the other hand, would a...let's say... Pearl Eliminator strap fit on a Flying Dragon? I guess not :P, but if it does I'd like to try that combination at some given time, just for the fun of it.
