13.25" K Custom Hybrid hihats

anybody using these? I tried some out at sam ash today and really liked them. im also looking at the custom k darks...still trying to make my mind up. anyway, thought i'd get some opinions...thanks

Oh yeah! Greatest HHs ever in my opinion! Bright. Crisp. Edgy. And has a nice bite and foot sound.

I just bought a used pair of 14" K Custom dark hats and instantly fell in love with them -- I have tried a pair before, but these were even better. The 13" Hybrids are probably brighter and higher pitched, but nevertheless great sounding and versatile cymbals. The choice between these two is like a choice between two Ferraris that are finished with slightly different color coats...

youre right...i know im definitely going with one of these 2...just cant make my mind up...if i had the money i'd get both, but that's not happening...lol. thanks for the input.

I actually got the K Custom Dark hats when i was doing my hat purchasing.

It sounded really good at the store and individually but when I was playing at church, it felt too dry.

Then I moved to the 14" K lights and I liked how it has a balance brightness and the crispiness and darkness.

Some actually might find the 14" K lights to be a little darker and might wanna move on the 13" for a little bit more sweetness. I'd recommend you to try them both if you are interested in that range of sound.
