Default Pearl Hardware and DW hardware

Hi guys, I'm trying to slowly upgrade all my hardware(stands, hi hat stands, etc), I would like to know the pros and cons of this 2 brands(the 9000 series in DW and 1000 and 2000 series in Pearl), sorry if my English is bad,
thanks in advance

Hello,

I have three Pearl BC 2000 cymbal stands and they are extremely strong and versatile. I love them because I'm able to mount several cymbals/toms on each stand but they might be a bit heavy for some folks. I would say the stand is overkill if you're only mounting one cymbal on a stand--in this case, you can definitely meet your needs with something lighter and cheaper.

I also have an S-2000 snare drum stand and an H-2000 hi-hat. Again, very solid stuff.

I use only DW hardware on my set, mostly the 9000 series. I don't like having many stands, so I pile a lot of stuff (four toms and five cymbals) on just two stands. I also have a legless hihat stand clamped to a two-legged cymbal stand. DW is heavy, but its tough, innovative and looks nice and streamlined. Other brands just don't complement the look of my drums as well.
