Wow... That's a nice palette of sounds to choose from. Tama's ads for the B/B praise its superiority over Maple in recording, does it live up to the hype?

I don't know yet, I haven't recorded them, but I think that they will sound great on records, different from maple

Wow, that is a nice collection you got there. Do you have any specific musical situation in mind for each one? Or is it just about the awesomeness of having a lot to choose from?

Those are all beautiful, top-of-the-line snares from top-notch manufacturers.

But I think I've been spoiled with all the pictures of stave, solid, steam-bent, magnesium, titanium, cast iron, carbon fiber and other freaky methods and materials. A standard-size collection of ply drums from major manufacturers just doesn't excite me much anymore, even a suberb collection like this. My tastes in drum porn are becoming ever more unusual.

Those are beautiful drums and I would love to have a glass snare. In fact, my goal is to collect snares of as many non-plywood construction types as I can. I already have a solid shell and I'm working on one of Unix's staves. It would be great to have a collection of all-exotic construction snares, with not a ply drum in the bunch.
