Default New pictures of drum set

Hey here's a couple pictures of my set, updated and rockin.. theres also a picture of them's sweet amps.. we put his pearl set with my "mark 2" set.. and made a beauty
most of my symbols are all cracked or have peices missing from them, but ya gotta make do with what you have..
also, i've seen a couple posts about the saw blades.. yeah they're pretty sweet, but theres little bounce and sustaining sound to them... pretty dull and hard to play consistently on 'em, so i got rid of them.. a little less blood on the snare skin as well heh.

The drums might like to be cleaned every now and then...

Not really my cup of tea (too many of everything), but if it works for you great. It needs a dusting and cleaning though. Take some pride in your equipment.

Ditto on a cleaning being overdue.

I like your splash!

i really like how your taking it. like how you said that most of the cymbals are cracked or somthing. man, some ppl including me would go crazy if i were playin a cracked cymbal and could hear it! ya its a lil dusty..and not my cup of tea..but the way you look at it, it is perfect for what ya want!

It depends on the genre. If you played in grindcore or hilbilly punk (example Mule) or maybe even stoner rock, your set should look banged up and dusty. If you played on a four-piece pearly white wrap in that setting, you'd immediately lose credibility.

There's a time and place for everything. The set looks fun to play, like a 1930s hot rod that's been cobbled together, looks scrungy and performs well.

Normally people ask for specs if they're not given. I noticed no one did that this time, but I'd like specs.

What kind of music do you play?

Nothing personal, and no disrespect, but why justify dirt?

I have a sneaky feeling that the sounds this kit makes and you love, would sound even nicer if you loved it a little more.

I'm all for pride in playing.

p.s. interesting that you are using different heads on same size drums.. how does that work for you?

I know you probably have 2 x 12" toms and 2 x 13" toms, but in that pic from the front it looks like all your toms are exactly the same size. That would make for some interesting fills.
