Default SONOR Giant Step Pedal

Gimmick or innovation? What do you think? Will this be around in 5 years and does anyone use it (recorded examples?)?

The Sonor Giant Step pedal is actually a family of pedals: http://www.google.com/products?q=son...&um=1&ie=UTF-8 and certainly some of those might not be around in 5 years. Check Thomas Lang out, he's the Sonor demo. god. Few, if anyone, can play Giant Steps like he can.

Sorry - I meant the twin effect pedal. It looks cool I guess but it feels like a gimmick. Are there examples of actual songs where it is being used, rather than just some clinician soloing?
