Default Vater Josh Freese H-220

Hi, I did a search....

I love the Fusion sticks...but the ball tip leaves dings on my heads. And don't say it's technique because the "Sound Percussion" 5Bs do NOT leave dings ....I know, wierd, ..but....

See any of my videos to see my style if you'd like: go to www.youtube.com/theory313 this is our singers site

So, anyone use them? They seem like the perfect combo....

Thanks!

I've only checked them out at the drumshop, but they seemed pretty cool.

They seemed pretty balanced for beeing so beefy in the shoulder & neck.
Nice short taper, and the tip was a medium size that seemed like it'd get a pretty fat sound.

Yeah, those Fussion sticks have a pretty small tip, I could see them denting some types of heads.

Thanks Ken!!

Yeah....it's basically a Fusion stick with a oval or normal tip. And I like the stocky shoulder for durabilty too! :)

The 5B I'm using now is just a tad big for me ( I have small hands [no comments!]) hee hee .....so ....seems like the perfect pair!!

I use Fusion sticks and I haven't dented any of my heads, I suppose its the heads you use or your playing style.

If anything it's the heads (slightly thinner this time) ....it's not my style (see above) because the other sticks I'm using now DON'T .......granted, the couple dents I got was on a really GOOD WHACK at the beginning of a tune ...so maybe I overdid it, but....the ball bead on the Fusion sticks can't be helping.

An update on these sticks.

There are a really really nice well balanced, all around stick that can do just about anything! Been playing with them for quite a few months now, and really like them!!
