The ride seems a little far away, but other than that, the kit looks fantastic and I like the incorporation of the djembe.

How are the Catalina Maples?

Very nice. I also like the set up. Looks quite comfortable to play. Looks like a nice jam room too. I wished I had that kind of space. Good to see another Tennessean on the forum!!

kung : I think it's the angle of the camera, it's actually closer than you think.... I'm pretty happy with the Gretsch Catalinas, one the price was right, and they sound good, This is about my 6th set I've owned, and probablly the least expensive, but they are fine for me.

pineyPlay: Yes the HHXplosion is a great crash...full the best I've ever owned...

fijjibo: The china is on the wall, I don't use it anymore, but I just think it looks cool up there, actuall theres a 8" paiste up there as well.... I hang the cymbals I don't use at the moment.

drumr0: yes the room is nice, good sized, we can jam really well in there. but I'm 50 years old, haha, took a long time to get here.....hahaha

Thanks for the comments,

I second this... nice kit, bet it took a while to put that baby together. Nice cymbal choices as well.

Welcome to the forum.

I love the setup, it looks very comfortable and fun to play. I especially like how the left side of the cymbals are arranged. Can't go wrong with Gretsch either :)

Nice looking set up with lots of possibilities. I used to have a djembe in about the same position and I'd sometimes play it with the left hand bare and do hats/ride/toms with the right hand. How do you incorporate your djembe?

You could condense your stands, however (mount more things on each stand). You have beautiful drums but the stands really block the view, especially from your left.

Say, I just got the Djembe about 2 months ago, still playing with the idea, plus some of my aux equipment is not set up currently.cowbells,,, etc...,
I do use clamps on all the small stuff, but like solid stands for everything else, yes, it is quite a bit of stands.... and will probablly add 2 more, but plan to add a few things this comming year, 19" hhxextreme crash, 17" evo effects crash, another set of hats for the left side... and then too, I have some GonBops cowbells and a LP tamborine and a couple other splashes to add....
