Default New DW Edge Snare

Hello,

Christmas came early with a 5 x 14 DW Edge Snare.

The deal was simply too good to pass up!

She is very heavy. The head needs to be replaced, so I will do that tomorrow.

It is a great sounding drum. I have a 6.5 x 14 Metal Supraphonic, a 5 x 14 Spaun maple snare and now this one.

They all sound great and completely different.

I hope everyone's holiday season goes well for them.

Mike

I accidently put this in the wrong section.

I know where it needs to go.

I was just so excited, I forgot to put it in YOUR PLACE

That's an awesome snare! You got a great deal on it, too (the price you quoted in your other thread). I've always loved the DW Edge. They have so much power and presence.

Thanks guys!!!

It is lacquer.

It has an ambassador on the bottom. Currently has a beat up PS3 on it. Sounds good. I got a free Evans reverse dot with the purchase. I will put that on tomorrow. If I don't like it, I wll purchase a G2 or Emporer.

It looks kind of funny with my Zep Set, but it sounds amazing.

That's a great drum. Good pick up!

Yeah, it's amazing how heavy those drums are.

You need collision insurance on your snare stand haha!

Hope you have lots of fun with it!
