I'm not sure about OAK, but Vater Super Jazz are .555 and 16.25 inches long, tough sticks but fast

the promark stinger is a regular 5a grip but a bit longer. it's got a different taper from most sticks though, so it feels faster and longer. great stick

I used to play with Vic Firth X5A's, they're slightly longer than regular sticks. I think they're 16,5" but I'm not sure.

Vater Ovals--great-sounding bead and solid weight.

another person who loves Recording! :)

Correction though, they are a slightly longer stick, not 16" but rather 16 1/4"... the Vater website has the correct info.

I'd really suggest Vic Firth's Signature Jack DeJohnette... They're standard hickory, but the paint makes them considerably stronger than a natural finish stick with the same specifications... and a bit heavier too. They're 16 5/16" long and .565" in diameter.
