Default headphones

I haven't found very much on this subject. I'm looking for some good quality headphones for both listening to music as well as for drumming with a klick and playing along with songs. good sound quality and isolation are the most important factors. Beyerdynamic DT 150 and Beyerdynamic DT 770 M are opions, although the last might be a little to expensive. any suggestions?

go with iems. basically earplugs with nice speakers in them.
shure, westone, ultimate ears, and jays all make nice ones
livewires are the cheapest custom molded ones you can get, while westone and ultimate ears make really expensive but really nice customs.
also sennheiser, creative, atrio, and v-moda make decent ones for under $100.
just don't get bose. they sound crap and don't block out enough noise to be worth it.

Have a look at Sony MDR 7506, I use it both for mixing and playing my Vdrums

I'm on my second set of these Sony headphones, 1st set lasted about 10 years. I tried all sorts of other ones when I went to buy another set 2 years ago and didn't find any that felt as comfortable as these. They are light weight, the padding is nice and soft and the sound is awesome!

I use Skull Candy ear buds (the 20Hz to 20kHz not the 100Hz to 18kHz) and shooting headphones. Great sound and awesome isolation.
