I can only speak of my 14" Sultan crash directly and it's a beauty. Quick, warm and musical. A very responsive and full sounding smaller size crash.

I absolutely love my 17" Agop Traditional Med Thin crash... It's about 1200g, so it plays more like a Thin. When it crashes, it's pretty dark and trashy but I've found it to be very versatile. It cuts, then really backs off with a quick decay. Definitely doesn't linger around...

I wouldn't suggest anything thinner than their Mediums if you're a heavy hitter. They have similar qualities but will sustain a bit more. The Darks are also a great choice but aren't much beefier than the MT.

Take a listen at www.cymbalsonly.com

He tends to carry the thinner stuff, but has a great selection of Sultans and Traditionals.
