Gotta love a finish like that. However I dissaprove of the hi-hats and ride-- I did the same thing (bought lower-level hi-hats and ride and then high end crashes) and only recently replaced my hi hats with professional ones and it was totally worth it.

Thanks!
it's huge sheet of ply wood I drilled holes for my double pedals spikes to go into and I made little fittings for everthing to fit in so I can set up my set exactly the way each time, and so it doesnt move around when I play.

You're right I could definetly use a higher end ride. I actually kind of like those PST5s though because they were fairly cheap and in my opinion actually sound pretty good.

Cool kit! I love my Session customs. I have the Vintage Fade as well, but went for the 8x7 and one "floor" tom. I highly recommend the Evans G2 on the batter side and G1 on the reso side. After 6 months, I'm still in love with mine.

Ditto on the cymabals. I'd go for HH first.

Enjoy.

That kit's a beauty, such a nice finish. Nice rack, how do you like the Max splash and the Ozone? Soundclips?

Excellent choice in drums. I too have a Sessions set in the green fade. I LOVE my drums! After playing nothing but drums made out of "door filler" for all those years, it has been nice to play on a quality maple set. Love the set up and cymbal variety.

Very nice, great looking finish. I thought all sessions were Birch? In any case they are beautiful.

Cool!
I think once I tried some Sessions...but how do you like them for the price? Are those birch ones? One is this a Pearl crash with rivets? How is that?

Looks very comfortable, I really like it...

Changed things around and added a little bit:

sorry I haven't checked back here in such a long time.... but to answer all your questions:

--->Pineyplay- I absoloutely love those two cymbals, they work perfectly for me.... unfortuneately I have no way of recording myself whatsoever so I can't make soundclips :( ... but I think Sabian has soundclips on their site don't they?

--->GrooveSlave- Yeah I'm gonna get Evans G1s as res heads but I think I'm gonna stick with these EC2s as batter heads.

--->Drummer Karl- In my opinion they are completely worth the price I paid for them (I got a pretty good deal on these things, I don't know how much they usually are though) These ones are maple ones. Oh and the Pearl crash with rivets is actually just an old hihat that I drilled holes in and put screws in :p ....it sounds pretty deceint though!

--->groovemaster- No I'm not really influenced by him at all I've barely heard any of his stuff actually... I'll go look him up now. Why do you ask though?

I still haven't replaced my B8 ride yet as you can see. I don't have enough money right now and there are a couple other things I want to look into first (and truthfully I actually kinda like that ride). Do you guys have any suggestions for rides that I should check out though? I don't really know what I'm looking for sound-wise right now however...

It's an AAX 18" O-zone crash

China-ish?... yeah it sounds very china-ish, a tad less trashy though, sound wise it's more of a cross between a china and crash thrown together into one.
It's nice if you want a pre-china-ish kind of sound, but you still want to play it like a crash.
