Chad Smith/Steve White Clinic 6/11/07

Hi all! Just thought i'd post this after being to the Chad Smith and Steve White Clinic in Birmingham, U.K on Tuesday just gone (6/11/07).

All i can really say is wow, honestly they were very good, the whole format was good, Steve sat down with just a Snare and played for about 20 minutes straight without changing the simple sticking he was using then he just played a bit only using influence from Birmingham/Midland based drummers i.e Bev Bevan, John Bonham, Bill Ward e.t.c but yeah he was very good. He demonstrated some simple showman ship techniques aswell.

Then Chad came on, he blew everyone away whilst he played and also when he played along to 'Ready Made' from the Chili's latest album, anywho it was all good. Then the two played together which was great to see, each matching each others ability and technique

Did anyone go to it also? or planning to go to one soon, would love to here from everyone?
