GMS CL Series + Pacific Double Tom Stand ??/

Hello, Guys

I am thinking of mail-ordering GMS CL Standard set (8x10, 9x12, 12x14 Rack Tom, 5.5x14 Snare Drum, 18x22 Bass Drum, Double Tom Holder, Clamp on Single Tom Holder) and add to it a 14x16 rack tom. So I am going to put two suspended toms 12x14 and 14x16 on a double tom stand.

Since GMS hardware is not available in my area and it is a little bit pricey to boot I am thinking to partially resort to Pacific hardware. Pacific double tom stands look pretty much similar to GMS' (two 'horns' sticking up).

So my question is: did anyone try to put GMS toms on Pacific tom mounting hardware? Is GMS CL tom mounting compatible in terms of Pacific 'horns' diameter (Pacific's 'horns' are 10.5 mm - I could read in their catalogue)?

I also would appreciate to hear general comments and impressions of GMS CL series.
