stan just out of interest how many ride cymbals do you actually own. every time i see you post you seem to have some new istanbuls -

i am and i am sure i speek for every one v. v. envious

They look interesting. I don't know really anything about Istanbuls as such things don't exist around here. From what little I've heard online, the Mel Lewis ones are my favorite along with Originals/Traditionals or whatever they call it. I would love to go somewhere and play a bunch of these and Bosphorus too so I could see what all you guys go crazy about. Stores here only stock anything with the words "metal" "projection" or "bright" in the titles and it was hard enough to get a Zildjian Sweet Ride. All my favorite jazz and rock drummers all used Avedis Zildjian so I'm sort of stuck to that sound (which is hard to find these days). I need to hear some good Turkish goodness...

Yes I certainly caught the Agop addiction factor with my purchases no doubt but i'm done certainly with having the selection of Agop rides I was after. 6 rides in total with one of them the being more of a left side crash ride {25th Anniv.} covering any musical live or recording situation is the final count.
