Giant step triple pedal - anyone played it ?

Hi,
Did anyone played that pedal ? I'm considering buying this monsterly expensive pedal, but there aren't any in my country to try. So your opinions will be most welcome.

Do you mean the 'Giant Step Middle Pedal' ? If so, measure the comfortable distance between your two feet and keep in mind this and other pedals like it have a minimum distance between foot boards, which may turn out to be uncomfortably large for you.

I don't know what that min is, but its definitely larger than a standard double pedal.

No I mean the GTRP 3 triple pedal (see image).
The right beater is operated normally, the left one by either the heel of the right foot or the left foot.
It seems like a very good idea, enabling you to use it as a single pedal, double pedal or twin-effect which frees the left foot for the hi-hat (that's the reason I'm considering it razorx, this can't be done otherwise as far as I know).
But I don't know if it's good, and if it's comfortable to use it as a normal pedal (without the heel thing) which I guess I'd want to do some of the time.

Its just a pedal, and it opens up more playing and setup options.

Just ask Aahz, AmbA, or even Bill Bruford.

I use a twin efx pedal to the left of my hi-hat. It's great for Thomas Lang type stuff but I would never use the twin efx as my primary pedal. The heel "pedal" portion makes it annoying to use as a regular pedal. Check out the Dualist Pedal Triple version.

looks hard to get used to though..how much are they selling it at by the way? looks a bit like what jojo mayer used once in one of those online vids

thats a cool pedal to buy!!! and since there are no sonor pedals in your country!!! u can sell it for more u paid for....
