Default Premier Artist Birch - Fusion Kit.

Here's my premier artist birch with fusion sizes. I got this used but in really good condition for about $650; to me, an amazing deal. Im 16 and i've been playing for about 4 years and this is my first really nice quality kit. I play mostly funk and fusion in a band, but i also play a lot of classic rock with friends.

Cymbals: 16" sabian AA el sabor crash (i love this thing)
17" zildjian A custom crash
20" zildjian medium ride from the late 70's
13" sabian fusion hi hats
Drums: Premier artist birch with fusion sizes.
The snare: 5x 14 DW black brass (its a mexican one but it sounds great- nice and crisp with lots of tone)
Heads: Evans genera G2 coated on toms and snare.
Evans emad on bass, with a remo powerstroke as the resonant (I broke my premier resonant head but the remo actually sounds pretty good despite it being a batter head)
Pedal: Iron cobra all chrome.
Sticks: Im not too picky about sticks but i have Vic Firth 7a's right now.

Nice Kit! Very Nice. I have that same snare, I love the sound it gives. It has been my favorite snare i've ever owned. Could you list tom sizes please?

Yep but I think it`s a 22" bass drum...but I may be wrong. Nice kit, nice deal. Felt good when I played an Artist Birch on a gig!

btw, how is your old Avedis Ride??

Karl

Very classy.

There is something very beautiful about the simplicity of your setup.

Those things are really nice. I really want one of those possibly as my next drum set.

Very nice. I just sold a WMP Premier Artist Birch to a guy up north. I really liked that kit too. Sounded great.

thanks for all the complements. And yes the bass is a 22". I actually would have prefered a 20" because i play a lot of funk and hip hop, but i cant complain about the 22". And Karl, I love the ride. It has a really good tone, but the wash can sometimes be a little bit much. I like rides that are a little lighter than this one but it usually gives me the sound i want and feels really nice when im playing it. The bell is really bright too i love it.
