I sold some S Class toms and a Phonic Bass drum, had this left over for this purpose. Red Maple S Class 20" bass drum. Set it up on a cradle as a Gong Drum on the 3003 SE kit.

Its a cradle for a dejembie. It works great. I had my Remo dejembie on there before

Actually the core of my kit is a 3003 SE Special Edition (1 of 70)Red Birdseye Maple
10, 12, 14, 16, 22
I have added a 8, 10, 13, 14, 20 Red Maple
from five feet aways its all the same
:D

Up close you can see that the 13 inch tom is odd man out ;)

It's sort of like Krupa's 20" Floor tom as it's not really a gong drum. Just a big fun thing to have I suppose.

Gotta love a gong drum. I really enjoy the 2 that I have. Before I got my 2 current kits I had been wanting one forever when I saw Simon Phillips and Tim Alexander use them.

The Pork Pie gong is a 18x16 shell with a 20in head , the DW is a 21x16 with a 22in head.

Great idea using the Djembe stand!!
