nice looking set. Interesting how you have your two rack toms to the left of the bass - most people put them on top of the bass. Your setup is kind of like a four-piece, but with five pieces.

Exactly! That's how I set up as well... completely inspired by using a four piece for a while. There is a thread that showcases a bunch of kits set up this way.

So if I haven't said already, love the arrangement.

Swingstar shells are crafted of 8 plies of Philippine mahogany. You are correct, my friend.
Nice kit and setup. I wish I had the needed hardware to do that with my kit.

I used to have a swingstar and it had a steel snare. Swingstars are great kits!

Im not a huge fan of the cymbals, but other than that it all looks great. Probably incredibly comfortable.

Nice Swings but I think your specs are wrong.

TAMA swingstar in the generation of your never had 8x12 and 9x13 size. Their shallower size came out in 2005 and was 9x12 and 10x13 with 14x14 or 16x16 floor toms with legs or 11x14 & 13x16 suspended floor toms.

nice set up, if u upgrade i'd leave the crashes until last because B8 crashes are better then people give them credit for. well thats my opinion anyways.

as a base the b8 hats and ride wont kill you for now, as long as you keep those together untill you can get some other matched pairs youll be fine.

i have the smaller version of the swingstar the stagestar. really nice kit.

although i have yet to trick it out like pasquini (shakes head)

nice job all around my man

It's interesting you should say that because we have a whole 8 page thread of people who do just this setup on here.

Nice kit, poor sister!
