Default My new project.

I found these on a curb one day. I picked them up and checked up online to find out more about 'em. They're mohagony so I figured i'll keep em.

A few weeks of searching on ebay i found the rest of what i wanted to add to this kit. Here it is minus the bass(I need to put it together).

Specs:
CB MX Series
22 x 14
16 x 16
14 x 12
13 x 11
12 x 10
I still need to get some new heads hoops for the 16 and tom arms for the 13 and 14, but I'll have some outside pics so the sparkle shows more tomorrow hopefully.

Very cool colour choice I have to say. Nice sparkle. In comparison the beige wrap looked...well, not so good. haha...
I think they`d look so damn beautiful with some other cool lugs (maybe golden tube style lugs?) and other hoops (maybe wood hoops?)

However, it`s not mine. =)

Nice project.

I second Karl about the hardware, go on Drummaker.com and get some brass tube lugs, or something like that. It would compliment the wrap nicely.

I know that the brand "World Max" sells those drum parts like lugs, hoops etc. too.

These are German prices I think but this stuff isn`t really expencive.

Looks valuable...

for those prices im better off going to amdrumparts. I just put them together since i wanted to have a bigger kit to mess around with. Imma make myself a full bonham sized stave kit in the future. so i'll probably sell this one for the money i put into it soon.

Yes you can repaint any drums. You just have to make sure you sand off most if not all the previous paint, get rid of the grain with some sealer or primer then fine sand it until its smooth then youre all set to repaint.

yea just spray the light color first then the darker color. For transparent finishes make sure you sand in between clear coats to help hide the grain and give you a smooth finish.
