Default My Isolation Headphones got messed up...(cries like a baby)

Here the story:

I forgot to get My Vic Firth Isolation Headphones out of my car yesterday, so I went to work today like always. I left the car under the sun all day, when practice time arrived I went to the car to get the headphones (I can't live without them) and "BOOM" the cusions felt. There is no sign of glue or anything, I tried to put them on with the cusions partially on and it did nothing, the sound was too loud and I couldn't stand it.Then I went to pick my ear plugs, I got the pack when I look inside there was no ear plugs either. I almost cried, I feel such a big pain right now. I couldn't play today because of that. Please someone help me. I've lost some hearing in my left ear and I won't play without my headphones.

Do you use them with an iPod?

I just ripped the cord out of my Vic Firths and had to buy new ones.

If you just want the headphone portion for cutting the noise, I could send you my broken pair.

If you can't bear the pain of purchasing a new pair, try some foamies. They cost 5 bucks. They squoosh up and ya put em in your ear. When you take them out of your ear they go back to cylindrical shape. Amazing stuff really.

Just out of curiosity, could you elaborate on your comment please? Are you being sarcastic? If thats the case... alright, I get it. Pardon my inquisition, but its hard to decipher the actual context of a post sometimes.

Shut up.. lol. I couldn't tell if it was or not. I am still new here, and sometimes I will be reading a thread and come across a post that I think is sarcastic and it turns out the memeber is as serious as a heart attack. Makes me shake my head a bit, but we all react to situations in our own way.

Can't hurt to ask.. lol. Right?

(Honoring the actual thread topic)... Buy another pair Melvin. Don't leave them in the car again.

A lesson learned. Things that don't react well to hot vehicles: Babies, pets, tapes, drums, lighters, lipstick, everything!

I was thinking of buying some UHU glue since it's elastic and gluing the cushion thing back. A friend recomended me using Crazy Glue but that's too plastic and maybe it won't work very good. I'll try that if the UHU doesn't work.

ledzepjb Yes I use them for gigs. I can hear the rest of the band just perfectly and at a volume which is not dangerous.

Also it pains me a lot to buy them back because they are too expensive here. They cost like $40 because the taxes and stuff!!!

Thank you everyone for trying to help me and thank's for your jokes, I really had some fun reading some of your posts!

If I can't glue them good enough...well I'll buy another pair.

I just fixed them. The glue works just perfect and it didn't get to my ear! Now I'm happy once again!

Thank you everyone!
